Compatibility & Technical Principles

5 questions

Are your components compatible with my existing hot tub or bathtub models?

In most cases, yes — but compatibility has to be confirmed on three levels before we quote:

Send us photos of the existing part, the failed part with a ruler in frame, or the original model number. Our technical team will identify the equivalent and confirm the fit before you commit to an order.

If you are sourcing a complete system, parameter matching and power calculation are handled by us — see the advanced ODM section below.

What is the difference between a pump, a circulation pump and a blower?

  • Jet pump — high flow, drives the massage jets during a session.
  • Circulation pump — low wattage, runs continuously or on a timer to move water through the filter, heater and sanitiser.
  • Blower — moves air, not water, and feeds the bubble system.

Specifying only one of the three is the most common cause of underperforming systems.

Will your controller work with my control panel?

Controllers and panels must match on protocol, connector and firmware — not only on brand. When you order the controller and panel as a set from one source, compatibility is guaranteed. When mixing brands, send us the model numbers of both units and we will confirm before quoting.

Are ozone generators and UV lamps safe for residential spas?

Yes, when correctly installed with a check valve and correctly sized to the water volume. Ozone is injected into the circulation line, reacts in the water, and reverts to oxygen; the check valve prevents backflow into the generator.

Where can I find technical parameters, installation manuals and drawings?

For jets, shower hardware and similar accessories we publish detailed technical parameters and material descriptions. Most products ship with an instruction manual, and we provide installation videos where the assembly is not self-evident.

Downloadable material is collected in the Download Center. If a drawing you need is not published, request it from your sales contact. Projects using our advanced ODM service receive a full technical document set, described below.

Advanced ODM System Solutions

10 questions

What does the advanced ODM service ultimately deliver?

Whether you need a simple branding solution or complex system integration, we tailor the service to your specific requirements across spa, bathtub and shower room components. The sections below set out the specific scope of support.

What technical documents or drawings can you provide?

We can supply hand-drawn concept sketches, 3D renderings and process flow charts, covering component layout and plumbing schematics, so you understand the full system structure.

How do these technical documents help us?

Three practical uses:

  • Evaluate the product design accurately.
  • Speed up internal approval and procurement decisions, reducing communication errors.
  • Locate the faulty module quickly when a problem occurs, saving time and cost.

Our bill of materials is long. Can you supply all of it?

Our product range covers almost every line on a typical bill of materials. Where an item is missing, we can develop it to your requirement.

Sourcing each component separately is time-consuming. Can you consolidate it for us?

Yes. We map the functional logic of the whole system to your requirement, clarify the role of each component and how they relate, and prevent gaps or conflicts in the design. That removes the cross-brand comparison and integration work from your side.

Do we need to handle parameter matching and power calculations ourselves?

No. Parameter matching, power calculation and control system logic configuration between components are handled by our team, which lowers your technical communication cost.

Can you resolve compatibility issues between components?

Yes. Based on your existing system structure we determine the required specifications and models, ensuring the parameters and control logic of all components work together. For single-component compatibility, see the confirmation process at the top of this page.

Our project timeline is tight. Can you help us move faster?

Yes. Send us the project requirement and we return a complete system solution and configuration plan, so you can complete internal evaluation and approval quickly and start the project sooner.

Will maintenance and upgrades be easier if we adopt your system solution?

Yes. A clear system architecture supports fault diagnosis, part replacement and functional expansion, saving time and labour and reducing the complexity of maintenance and upgrades.

Do you offer exclusive designs or regional protection?

Both are open to discussion. This is not a theoretical offer — we already provide exclusive designs to some customers, and other customers have signed country or region exclusive supply agreements with us.

The exact scope of protection — which products, which markets, and for how long — is agreed per project, and is normally linked to order volume and length of cooperation. Mould-level exclusivity is covered in our Products FAQ.

If you are considering handing your own design to us for development, we recommend settling the exclusivity terms in writing at the project kick-off stage.

Production, Quality Control & Lead Time

4 questions

What is your lead time?

  • In-stock items: shipped in 7–15 days, depending on your region.
  • Items requiring production: approximately 25–40 days, counted from the date the deposit is received.
  • Samples: typically within 7 days by air or express.
  • New mould development: 30–40 days before production begins.

If you have a fixed on-shelf date, tell us at the quotation stage — we plan the production slot around it rather than reporting a delay later.

How do you control quality?

At least four inspection stages per order:

  • Pre-production confirmation — a pre-production sample is submitted; production only starts after you approve it.
  • In-production communication — regular progress reports, with any issue affecting quality or delivery raised and confirmed immediately.
  • Final inspection and packaging confirmation — full finished-goods inspection, plus confirmation of packing, marks and labels.
  • Pre-shipment confirmation — a final inspection report with photos is sent to you, and shipment only proceeds after your approval.

We control every step from raw material selection to final inspection. For surface-finished products, acid salt spray test data can be requested separately.

Can I track my order during production?

Yes. After your order is placed, you receive a detailed commercial invoice listing specifications, quantity, expected delivery date and any specific quality requirements, followed by regular production progress reports.

If the schedule needs adjustment, we tell you while there is still time to act on it.

Can I or my agent inspect before shipment?

Third-party and buyer inspections are accommodated. Our own pre-shipment report with photos is issued as standard.

If you use SGS, BV, Intertek or your own agent, arrange the booking with your sales contact so the inspection window is built into the production schedule.

Did not find your answer?

Send us your product list, target market and approximate volume, or simply photos of the parts you need. You will get a quotation within 8 hours, with specification confirmation and a compatibility check.
